Welcome to the 613 Avenue Create Design Team. We realize that all design teams operate differently. We hope the following information will help you transition into our system with ease.If you have questions that are not addressed below, please feel free to contact me at cmalkah613@gmail.com. If your personal blog is set up in blogger, navigating our DT forum should be familiar.
We have two DT Forums.
Design Team Blogger Forum
This forum is used mainly to post our challenge themes and the related DT Creations. This is where you will upload your projects each month. Challenge themes are normally posted at least two months in advance. For the current year, 2022, the challenge themes have been posted through December. We also maintain our DT contact information and comment rotation in this forum.Each challenge month is created on a separate page. There you will find the OPTIONAL TWIST for that month, the date and time that the challenge will post. For our purposes, once you have been granted access to the DT Forum, the area you will use the most is PAGES.
To VIEW a page, you only need to go to the TOP TAB section located immediately below the BLOG HEADER (613 Avenue Create with a picture of the mushroom houses.) Find the page you want and click on it.
To ADD your project to the project page, LOCATE the word DESIGN in the upper right corner of the blog and click on it. This will open the Blogger Theme Page. On the left-hand side, you will see the list of available selections. Select PAGES. After making this selection, you will see ALL the PAGES on the BLOG. Find the page you are looking for and CLICK the page title.
If you are the first person to upload a project, simply add your project in the designated area. Normally below the words, PUT ‘EM HERE! If other designers have already added their projects, then you should add your project BENEATH the last project on the page.
Place your name above your project and make sure that you link your name to your PROJECT URL. If you are using a platform other than Blogger, you must figure out how to add your link. It is impossible to know how to link to every possible blogging platform. Generally, it should be the same process you use to link your project to challenges that you enter.
To upload your project, locate the “photo” icon in the HTML menu bar. Click the icon and it will open the upload window. Upload your photo from your computer.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO UPDATE THE PAGE BEFORE EXITING. THE UPDATE BAR IS LOCATED IN THE UPPER RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE PAGE!
FB FORUM: The Facebook DT Forum is NOT used to add projects. This forum is for general team questions and discussions related to the challenge blog and entries. Sponsor images will be posted in the DT Blogger and FB forums.
Challenge Honors:
TOP ROCKERS: Each week, DT members are asked to submit the ENTRY NUMBERS of their favorite challenge entries. This information should be listed in the DT FB FORUM! Although we are a monthly challenge, the Top Rockers are selected weekly. The challenge weeks run from Sunday – Saturday and the DT Coordinator will normally request the selections on Saturday or Sunday.
